FORT MILL, S.C.  – June 3, 2008 –  A night after they blew a six-run lead, the Charlotte Knights weren’t about to let history repeat itself as they defeated Pawtucket 9-3. Tied 3-3 going into the bottom of the 7th, the Knights exploded for 6-runs scoring on two wild pitches and never looked back. The Knights scored their first three runs on solo home runs by Chris Getz, Fernando Cortez and Brad Eldred. For Eldred, it meant adding to his league-leading RBI total of 54.
